Many players believe that the visual animation on the screen is the game "thinking" or "deciding" the outcome. In reality, the process is almost instantaneous and happens entirely on the secure server. When you select your bet amount and press the action button, a request is sent to the server.
The server immediately uses a mathematical algorithm to determine the result. Once this result is decided, the server sends a signal back to your device. The animation you see—the spinning reels, the falling cards, or the moving ball—is simply a visual representation of a result that has already been locked in. Your account balance is updated the millisecond the result is determined, regardless of how long the animation takes to finish. You cannot "persuade" or "time" the machine, as the outcome is settled before the graphics even begin to move.
